Een tijdje geleden had ik al een kaart gemaakt met de Dylusions huisjes en die zijn zo leuk dat ik er nu een pagina in mijn art journal mee heb gemaakt.

Alle inkt en stempels zijn van Dylusions, de grassprietjes zijn van Magnolia Doohickey snijmal. De letters en vogeltjes in de lucht zijn met poscapennen getekend.

Some time ago I made a card with the Dylusions houses and they are so gorgeous that I decided to do a page as well.

All ink and stamps are by Dylusions, grass is made with a Magnolia Doohickey. The letters and birds in the sky are handwriting by me with my posca pens.

the Stamping Boutique challenge # 39 - BINGO

Momenteel zit ik in de tuin onder de parasol met om mij heen 2 konijnen en 3 katten allemaal gevloerd door de warmte. Want wat een lekker weer is het opeens!!Vorige week loop je nog in je winterjas, maar nu kunnen de zomerkleren toch echt te voorschijn komen.

Het is vandaag weer dinsdag en dat betekent een nieuwe challenge bij the Stamping Boutique. Het thema is deze week BINGO!, kies minimaal 3 vakjes of 4 hoeken uit de bingokaart (zie hieronder) om een creatie te maken.

At the moment I'm enjoying the lovely weather we are having today. I'm surrounded by 2 rabbits and 3 cats, all completely knocked out by the heat. "cause the weather is really fantastic all of a sudden. Last week I was still wearing my wintercoat but this week we definitely need our summerstuff.

But it's Tuesday again and that means a new challenge over at the Stamping Boutiqie. Our theme this week is BINGO!, choose at least 3 items or 4 corners from the bingocard to create your project.

De achtergrond is gemaakt met Dylusions Ink op aquarelpapier. De afbeelding heet "INSPIRE" en is natuurlijk van de Stamping Boutique. De bloemen (TH-snijmal) zijn gemaakt met koffiefilterzakjes (inderdaad gebruik bijna geen andere bloemen meer) en gekleurd met dezelfde kleuren als de achtergrond. De blaadjes en swirl (ook TH snijmallen) zijn gesneden uit cardstock en gekleurd met distressinkt. Ik had nog kleine lieveheersbeestjes liggen, die er superleuk bij passen (vond ik zelf).

The BG is made with Dylusions Ink and watercolourpaper. The image is called "INSPIRE" and is off course by the Stamping Boutique. The flowers (TH cutting die) are made with coffeefilters (yep I hardly use any other kind of flowers nowadays) and coloured with the same colours I have used to make my BG. The leaves and swirl (TH cutting dies too) are made out of cardstock and coloured with distress ink. I had some tiny ladybug embellies that suited the image pretty fine (at least that's what I thought).

Ik doe met deze kaart mee aan de Summer Holiday challenge bij Simon says Stamp and Show challengeblog (loopt tot 27 mei) - (zomervakanties doen mij denken aan prachtige bloemen in nog mooiere kleuren, vol met schilder inspiratie)

Smudgy Antics colour challenge

Dit is alweer de derde challenge als gast DT voor Smeared Ink en Smudgy Antics challenge blog.

Deze week is er een kleurenchallenge, altijd leuk! En het zijn prachtige kleuren om mee te werken.

This is my 3rd challenge as GDT for Smeared Ink and Smudgy Antics challenge blog. This week we have a colourchallenge, I just love colourchallenges! And I love working with these colours.

Ik heb voor mijn kaart een afbeelding van Smeared Ink gebruikt, de Valkyries. De Valkyries zijn volgens de Noorse mythologie vrouwen die op het slagveld bepaalden wie er dood ging en wie niet.

Ik heb de achtergrond gemaakt met distress inkt en diverse maskers en stempels. De lijst is mal van Sizzix en de bloemen zijn gemaakt uit koffiefilterzakjes en een TH mal , gekleurd met distress inkt.

I have used an image by Smeared Ink, the Valkyries. According to Norse mythology the Valkyries were females who decided who would die in battle and who would survive.

I made the BG with distress ink, masks and some stamps. The frame is made with a Sizzix cutting die. The flowers are made with coffeefilters and a TH cutiing die, coloured with distress ink.

the Stamping Boutique - challenge #38 DOODLING

Ik kon mijn ogen niet geloven toen ik las wat het thema van de nieuwe challenge was...DOODLING yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaah I love DOODLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ik heb deze keer de afbeelding FACE van de Stamping Boutique gebruikt, een supergaaf hoofd perfect for art journals en doodling. Ik heb gekozen voor warme, vrolijke zomerkleuren. De rand , tekst en bloemen zijn gemaakt met posca pennen. De afbeelding is ingekleurd met neocolor crayons, houtskool en kleurpotlood. De inkt op de achtergrond is van Dylusions.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I first read it, but the theme of our new challenge is ..DOODLING....wowzersssssssssssss, I love DOODLING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used the image FACE by the Stamping Boutique, an awesome female head perfect for art journals and doodling.I choose some cheery warm summery colours. The edge, sentiment and flowers are drawn with poscapens. The ink in the BG is by Dylusions.

Smudgy Antics challenge - MASQUERADE

Vandaag mijn 2de creatie als GDT bij Smeared Ink en Smudgy Antics, de challenge blog. Het thema is deze week "MASKERADE". Je kunt een masker maken , een maskerafbeelding gebruiken of een maskertechniek gebruiken.

Ik heb gekozen voor het laatste.

Today I have my 2nd creation as a GDT for Smeared Ink and the Smudgy Antics challenge blog to share. Our theme this week is "MASQUERADE". You can make a mask, use a maskimage or use the masking technique. I choose the last one.

Ik heb Stitchy Doll 1 van Smeared Ink gebruikt. Een geinig kereltje! Hij zit op de nieuwe TH telefoon, zo leuk die nieuwe mallen van TH. De achtergrond is gemaakt met 3 maal raden.....inderdaad Dylusions inkt. Ik het verder maskers gebruikt van the Crafter's Workshop en van Dyslusions. De bloemen zijn gemaakt van geruite knopen, gekocht op de markt en vilten rondjes. De blaadjes zijn ook gemaakt met een TH mal.

I have used Stitchy Doll 1 by Smeared Ink . isn't he a cute fella! He's sitting on the new TH telephone cutting die, really love the the new dies. The BG is made with ...guess what....yep Dylusions spritz ink. I have used masks by the Crafter's Workshop and Dylusions. The flowers are made with buttons (in a tartanprint), from my local market and some felt. The leaves are made with a TH die as well.

Aquamarkers

Vorige week heb ik een demo bij de Hobbystuntergegeven. Ik heb op verschillende manieren laten zien hoe je de aquamarkers kunt gebruiken. Ik heb hier een paar voorbeelden voor jullie. Overigens kun je op dezelfde manier je tombo's of distress markers gebruiken. Ook door elkaar heen.

Last week I gave a demo Aquamarkers at my local craftshop.

I showed the different ways of using your aquamarkers. I have some creations to share to show how to use the aquamarkers. You could use your tombo's or distress markers in the same way. To mingle them is also a possibility.

Ik heb bij dit kaartje de achtergrond gemaakt op een craftsheet met water erbij. Haal de kaart er een paar keer doorheen en droog tussendoor de verschillende lagen voor een leuk marmereffect. De paddenstoelen (Dylusions) en het elfje (Whags and Whiskers) heb ik wel gestempeld met watervaste inkt, omdat anders de lijntjes uitlopen. De bloemen zijn gemaakt met TH mallen van koffiefilterzakjes en ook gekleurd op een craftsheet met inkt en water. Daarna goed drogen met de heatgun en de blaadjes omkrullen met een haaknaald of prikker.

I have made the BG by putting aquamarkers on a craftsheet with a spritz of water. Put the card on the ink several times and dry in between to get a marbly look. The toadstools ((Dylusions) and fairy (Whags and Whiskers) are stamped with waterproof ink because otherwise the lines get blurred. The flowers are made with TH cuttingdies and coffeefilters. I have coloured the flowers with aquamarkers and some waterspritz as well. Then dry with a heatgun and curl the petals with using a crochetneedle.

De achtergrond is hier op dezelfde manier gemaakt als bij de elfenkaart. De huisjes zijn van Dylusions gestempeld met watervaste inkt om uitlopen te voorkomen. De huisjes zijn ingekleurd met aqauamerkers. als laatste nog een beetje wit met een poscapen toegevoegd.

I made the BG in the same way as in the fairy card. The cute little houses are by Dylusions stamped with waterproof ink (preventing the lines to get blurred). The houses are coloured with aquamarkers. For the final touch I added some white with my poscapen.

the Stamping Boutique challenge # 37 - bling bling bling

Het is weer dinsdag en dat betekent een nieuwe challenge bij the Stamping Boutique. Ons thema is deze keer BLING BLING BLING. We willen heel veel glitters zien op jullie projecten.

It's Tuesday again and that means a new challenge over at the Stamping Boutique. Our theme this week is BLING BLING BLING. We want to see a lot of glitters on your project.

Ik ben voor deze challenge 3x opnieuw begonnen. De 1ste had te weinig bling, wel een mooi achtergrondje gemaakt, maar dat kan ik nog wel een keer gebruiken voor iets anders.

De 2de was niet mooi, de afbeelding was te saai naast de achtergrond die ik had gemaakt.

Maar nummer 3 is het toch geworden, ik heb de hartenkoningin gebruikt uit de AIW serie. De achtergrond is gemaakt met afdrukjes uit mijn AIW boek, muzieknotenpapier en tissuepapier van prima marketing. Voor een beetje kleur dylusions inkt en glimmermist gebruikt en als laatste nog een paar swirls gestempeld.

De harten zijn gemaakt met TH snijmallen, gekleurd met Dylusions. De harten zijn versierd met glitters, glossy glue en ijskristallen.

I actually made 3 cards for this challenge. The 1st one didn't have enough bling, I loved the BG I made, but I can use that for another project later on. The 2nd one just didn't come out well, the image looked very pale with the glittering BG. The 3rd one came out exactly as I wanted it to be.

I used the queen of heart from the AIW series for my project. The BG is made with a print of some pages out of my AIW book, musical note paper and some tissue paper from prima marketing. I coloured the BG with dylusions ink and glimmermist. And for the final touch I added some swirls.

The hearts are made with TH cuttingdies, coloured with dylusions ink. The hearts are decorated with glitterpowder, glossyglue and icecristals.

PAPER CREATIONS INK

Om maar met het slechte nieuws te beginnen, om prive redenen hebben de eigenaren van PCI besloten te stoppen met de challenge blog. Is dat niet ontzettend jammer!!! Vandaag is het dus de laatste challenge en het thema is "in de tuin". Leuk thema niet en wat nog leuker is....deze keer sponsor ik de challenge en je kunt dus 3 van mijn images winnen. SMUDGY ANTICS

De hele maand mei ben ik ook gast DT bij Smudgy Antics, een challenge blog voor alternatieve, vintage en gothische creaties. Deze week is het thema heel eenvoudig, namelijk ANYTHING GOES. Alles mag dus.

I'm invited to be Guest DT over at Smudgy Antics challenge blogfor the whole month of May. Smudgy Antics is a blog for alternative, vintage and gothic creations. This week our theme is pretty easy, ANYTHING GOES, well easy peasy isn't it.

Ik heb een pagina gemaakt met alcohol ink. De randen zijn afgezet met mooi zwart kant. De bloem is gemaakt van plastic dat ik met de heattool (pas op verbrand je vingers niet) heb gevormd en ook heb gekleurd met alcohol inkt. De afbeelding is van Smeared Ink, een gave webwinkel met supertoffe en aparte afbeeldingen. De tekst is een uitspraak van de sprookjesschrijver Hans Christian Andersen.

I have made a page with alcohol ink. For the edges I have used some gorgeous black lace. The flower is made out of plastic and for curling the petals I used a heattool (watch it, don't burn your fingers). The flower is coloured with alcohol ink too. The image is by Smeared Ink, a cool webshop with awesome gothic images. The sentiment is by famous writer of fairytales Hans Christian Andersen.

En dat lijkt me heel erg leuk om te gaan doen, want Queen Kat heeft waanzinnig leuke stempels te koop in allerlei thema's maar ook mooie achtergrondstempels en nog veel meer. Het raampje is een Spellbinders mal, de bloempotten zijn stempels van Heartfelt Creations, de vogel in het raam is van Geckogalz en de tekst (smile it's the key that fits the lock of everybody's heart) komt van het internet.

The background is made with distress ink, masks and pieces notespaper. The window is made with a Spellbinder cutting die, the flowerpots are Heartfelt Creations stamps, the bird in the window is a collage sheet by Geckogalz and the sentiment ((smile it's the key that fits the lock of everybody's heart) is from the internet.

Deze kaart is geheel gemaakt met aquamarkers. Zowel de achtergrond als de afbeelding en de bloemen zijn gekleurd met aquamarkers. I made this card made with just aquamarkers. Het is alweer een week geleden dat ik iets heb geplaatst, maar ik heb het heeeeeeeeeel erg druk gehad met mijn werk en met een aantal demo's en workshops en DT projecten die ik moest voorbereiden. Maar vandaag heb ik dan ook 2 projecten om te laten zien.

A week has already passed wothout a new creation, but I have been very busy at work and preparing some demo's, workshops and DT projects. But today I have 2 creations to show you.

1. THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE CHALLENGE- MONOCHROMATIC IN BLUE

De challenge bij the Stamping Boutique is erg leuk deze keer, alles blauw. Ik vind het altijd erg leuk om in 1 kleur te werken, dus ik had ook geen enkele moeite met deze challenge. En ik wist ook gelijk welke afbeelding ik zou gebruiken, Pearl, een prachtige zeemeermin van the Stamping Boutique.

De achtergrond is gemaakt met Dylusions Ink op aquarelpapier . De afbeelding is ingekleurd met artbars (wateroplosbare waxkrijtjes) van Derwent. De rondjesborder is een nieuwe mal van Tim Holtz en de zeesterren en visjes komen bij Xenos vandaan.

The challenge over at the Stamping Boutique is really cool this time, everything blue. I really love working in just 1 colour, so I had no trouble at all working on this one. And I knew immediately which image I wanted to use for my page, Pearl, a gorgeous mermaid by the Stamping Boutique.

The BG is made with Dylusions Ink on watercolourpaper. The image is coloured with artbars (watersoluble waxcrayons) by Derwent. De circleborder is a new cuttingdie by Tim Holtz. The seastars and fishes were found at Xenos.

2.GUEST DT OVER AT SMEARED AND SMUDGED

Vorige week vroeg Tori van het Smeared and Smudged forum of ik gast DT wilde zijn voor de maand mei. En dat wilde ik natuurlijk wel . Ik mag daarom deze maand de challenge verzinnen en dit is wat ik heb verzonnen: teken of schrijf iets op je creatie! Het mag een tekst zijn of kleine tekeningetjes of zelfs een hele afbeelding, als het maar met de hand is gedaan.

Ik heb ook hier de achtergrond gemaakt met Dylusions Ink op aquarelpapier. De afbeelding is van Stampotique en ook weer ingekleurd met artbars van Derwent. De visjes, het zeewier en de tekst heb getekend met poscapennen.

Last week, Tori of the Smeared and Smudges forum asked me to be May's Guest DT. And off course I wanted to be GDT, I felt honoured when she asked me. And because of this I can host the May GDT challenge and this is what I came up with: doodle or draw something on your creation! It can me either a sentiment or a little doodle or a large image, as long as it is handdrawn/ written.

And again I have made the background with Dylusions Ink on watercolourpaper. The image is by the Stamping Boutique and coloured with artbars (watersoluble waxcrayons) by Derwent. The fishes, weed and sentiment are drawn with my posca pens.

De lijst is een sizzix mal, de bloemen komen uit een tuincentrum en de blaadjes zijn gemaakt met een TH mal. Het alfabet is van Michele Marsden crafts.

SDC52: Oodles of Doodles

Op de valreep wil ik nog meedoen met de STAMPOTIQUE designer challenge #52, oodles of doodles. Een beetje laat maar ik heb nog een paar uurtjes....

Het thema van de challenge is juist zo leuk, doodle iets op je kaart en ik ben dol op doodlen. Bovendien wilde ik ook erg graag iets maken met mijn nieuwe Stampotique stempels die ik pas in Zeist heb gekocht.

In the nick of time I want to enter the STAMPOTIQUE designer challenge #52, oodles of doodles. A little late, but I still got a few hours left to enter.....

The theme of this challenge is really great, doodle something on your creation and I so love doodling. And I was very eager to use my new Stampotique stamps.

Ik heb de achtergrond gemaakt met Dylusions inkt (wat anders zou ik bijna zeggen), maskers en stempels van oa. stempelcapella. De stempel is van Stampotique ingekleurd met shimmerpaint en neocolor crayons.

Het randje, de tekst en de bloempjes zijn handgeschreven met poscapennen. De tekst is waarschijnlijk van ene Frank Outlaw.

The image is by Stampotique and coloured with shimmerpaint and neocolor crayons. The border, the sentiment and flowers are doodled by my and myself with poscapens. a birthday spell

Hehe, eindelijk weer eens een beetje tijd om iets leuks te maken met een Tiddly Inks afbeelding.

Deze keer is er een kleurenchallenge en je kon kiezen uit de kleuren van de regenboog en ik heb ze zo'n beetje allemaal gebruikt. Ik doe ook mee aan the Corrosive challenge. Yeah, finally some time to make something nice with a Tiddly Inks image (really missed that). They have a colourchallenge and you could pick any colour of the rainbow for your project, but I almost used all the colours I think. I will enter my card in the Corrosive challenge as well. You had to use something out of a bottle for this one, well the background is made with Dylusions ink and that comes in bottles for sure.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRT journal...

Ik ben deze week lekker bezig geweest. Op dinsdag gezellig met Neline en haar dochter Nina een art journalpagina gemaakt. We hebben lekker met inkt, stempels en papier gewerkt, heel leuk allemaal. En donderdagavond samen met Patricia en Jolande aan een art journal pagina gewerkt. Ja ik heb al een flink aantal meiden enthousiast gemaakt voor art journal.....wie volgt....

Maar eerst nog even mijn buit van afgelopen zaterdag op de stempelevent in Zeist. Ik heb alles op mijn verlanglijstje gevonden en nog veel meer leuks....

I have been busy this week. On Tuesday I worked on a page together with Neline and her 10 year old daughter Nina. We played with ink, stamps and paper and we really had a great time, a lot of fun. On Thursday evening I worked on another page togehter with Patricia and Jolande. Yep I already a few girls very enthousiastic about art journalling...who's next....

But before I show you my page I want to show my haul of last Saturday. I went to a stampevent in Zeist and this is what I bought...

Vandaag het resultaat van dinsdag.

Ik ben erg blij met het resultaat. De kleuren zijn mooi en er zit een prachtig glimmertje op (inderdaad glimmermist). het poppetje heb ik samengesteld uit een tijdschrift. De paddenstoelen heb ik ingekleurd met glimmerpaint, de blaadjes met Neocolor II crayons. De achtergrond is gemaakt met Dyslusion sprays, maskers en stempels.

I'm happy with the result, love the colours and the shimmer (glimmermist). I used a glossy to make the little funny puppet. The toadstools are coloured with glimmerpaint, the leaves with Neocolor II crayons. The background is made with Dylusion sprayinks, masks and stamps.

Het is weer dinsdag en dat betekent een nieuwe challenge bij the Stamping Boutique, dit keer is het thema "ANYTHING GOES" , alles mag dus. Lekker makkelijk toch??

It's Tuesday again and that means a new challenge over at the Stamping Boutique. This week our theme is "ANYTHING GOES" , well that's easy peasy isn't it???

Hoewel alles mocht, hebben de DT leden allemaal dezelfde afbeelding gebruikt en dat levert leuke verschillen op. Wil je ze allemaal zien, kijk dan even op de challenge blog.

Ik heb de achtergrond gemaakt met Dylusion sprayinkt en verder alleen maar woordjes gedoodled. Alles wat me aan een verjaardag deed denken, heb ik opgeschreven.

Allthough the theme was anything goes, all the DT members used the same image and that means a whole variety of different cards with the same image, really cool. If you want to see the other creations, please check the challenge blog.

I made the BG with Dylusions sprayink and furthermore I doodled a lot of words. Everything that reminded me of birthdays I wrote down.

Bij Paper Creations Ink hebben we weer een nieuwe challenge en het thema deze keer is 'APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS" wat zoveel betekent als na iets onaangenaams komt iets goed (onze na regen komt zonneschijn zeg maar). Na veel regen (toch niet altijd fijn) gaan de bloempjes en plantjes mooi groeien en bloeien (wordt ik altijd wel blij van). Ik heb daarom voor mijn voorbeeldkaart mooie fantasiebloemen gebruikt van Tiffany Doodles.

Over at Paper Creations Ink we have a new challenge and our theme this time is "APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS" it means that something good may happen as a result of unpleasant events. So after a lot of rain (not so nice) the flowers and plants will grow and blossom (makes me happy). That's the reason I used some gorgeous fantasy flowers byTiffany Doodles for my card.

De achtergrond van mijn kaart is gemaakt met Dylusions spuitinkt een stukje kant en een ruitjes mal van the crafter's workshop. De afbeeldingen zijn dus van Tiffany Doodles, de tekst is van kaisercraft en de bloempjes zijn uit de hobbywinkel. Verder mijn kaart simpel gehouden omdat de bloemen al erg mooi zijn.

Zoals beloofd nog een creatie die ik met de pasen heb gemaakt.

Dit keer heb ik tijdschriften verknipt om een leuk poppetje te maken. Voor de rest wat gedoodled en lekker met dylusions inkt aan de slag gegaan. Natuurlijk ook mijn posca pennen gebruikt (wat zou ik zonder moeten....) De stempels zijn van paper artsy.

De tekst is een uitspraak van Calvin & Hobbs (2 stripfiguurtjes).

As promised another creation I made during the Easter weekend. This time I used some glossy's to create a funny puppet. Furthermore some doodling and using a lot of dylusions ink. The stamps are by paper artsy. And I have used my posca pens again (where would I be without them...)

Het is alweer dinsdag en dat betekent een nieuwe challenge bij the Stamping Boutique, #33 deze keer en het thema is DISTRESSED. Dus verkreukelen, scheuren, beïnkten, opschuren het mag allemaal deze keer.

It's Tuesday again and that means a new challenge over at the Stamping Boutique, #33 already and our theme this week is DISTRESSED. So you can tear it, sand it, crumple it or rip it, anything is allowed.

De afbeelding is Goth girl van the Stamping Boutique ingekleurd met kleurpotlood. Het scrappapier is van Graphic 45, bewerkt met embossing crème (viva dekor) en een muur-masker (prima marketing) om meer structuur te krijgen. De klok (TH mal) is ook bewerkt met embossing crème, distress inkt en rub on copper (daler rowney). De blaadjes zijn gemaakt met een spellbinder malletje. De bloempjes zijn gemaakt met een pons.

I have used Goth girl by the Stamping Boutique for my card and coloured her with my colouring pencils. The DP is by Graphic 45. To get some structure I added embossing cream (viva dekor) with a wall mask (prima marketing). On the clock (TH die) I have used embossing cream as well, together with some distress ink and rub on copper. The leaves are made with a speelbinder die, the tiny flowers are made with a punch.

Ik ben dit paasweekeinde lekker bezig geweest! Een paar leuke kaarten en art journalpagina's gemaakt en lekker techniekjes uitgeprobeerd. Heerlijk! Vandaag laat ik jullie er vast 2 zien.

I have been very creative this Easter weekend. I made some cards and art journalpages and I tried some new techniques as well. Love it!! Today I will show you 2 of my new creations.

Voor mijn eerste kaart heb ik een heksje van Saturated Canary gebruikt. Het papier is een nieuwe lijn van Graphic 45. De bloempjes en vlinders zijn van hout en komen bij Xenos vandaan. De tekstplaat is van metaal gemaakt (ten seconds studio) dat ik heb bewerkt en met zwarte acrylverf oud heb gemaakt. De bloemblaadjes zijn van spiegelkarton (gunmetal) gemaakt.

For my first card I used this adorable witch by Saturated Canary. The DP is a new line by Graphic 45. The flowers and butterflies are made of wood and are sold at Xenos. The sentiment is made out of metal (ten seconds studio) and made look old with black acryl paint. The leaves are made of mirrorcardstock (gunmetal).

Op Deviantart heb ik een prachtige roodkapje gevonden gemaakt door `man personified`. De achtergrond is gemaakt met stukjes papier uit een boek beschildert met gesso en Dylusions sprays. De blaadjes zijn een stempeltje van Hero Arts en de letters zijn van Papermania. The quote is van A. Brillat Savarin....vond ik hier wel toepasselijk!

At Deviantart I found this awesome image made by 'man personified'. The background is made with pieces of paper (out of a book) painted with gesso and Dyslusions sprays. The leaves are made with a Hero Arts stamp. The ABC is a Papermania set. The sentiment is by A. Brillat Savarin...suited this image pretty well I thought!

Ja hoor, hier is er weer eentje en ik ben over deze best wel tevreden. Ik heb deze pagina vorige week gemaakt op een gezellig avondje met vriendinnen. Het was HEEEEEEEEEEL gezellig meiden !!

De achtergrond is gemaakt met NEOCOLOR crayons, creative expression maskers en een tekst stempel (viva dekor). De zwart witte doodles (ingekleurd met posca pennen) de blaadjes, de teksten en de toffe dame zijn van DYLUSIONS. Dit zijn toch zulke GAVE stempels, kan gewoon niet fout gaan.

YEP, here's another one and I'm pretty satisfied with the result. I made this page last week on a cosy crafting evening with friends. it has been a GREAT night girls!!

I have made the background with NEOCOLOR crayons, creative expressions masks and a textstamp (viva dekor). The black/white doodles (coloured with my posca pens), the leaves, the sentiments and the fashionchick are all by DYLUSIONS. I soooooooooooooo LOVE these stamps, you can't go wrong with them.

Welkom terug bij weer een nieuwe challenge van the Stamping Boutique. Dit keer is het thema "PASTELS". De gezellige lieve kleurtjes van het voorjaar.

Welcome back to another challenge over at the Stamping Boutique. This week our theme is "PASTELS". The gorgeous colours of spring.

Ik heb voor mijn kaart "DAISY FAIRY" gebruikt, een lief elfje van de Stamping Boutique. Het papier is van Bo Bunny. De bloem is gemaakt van koffiefilters met een nieuwe sizzix mal . De bloemblaadjes zijn gekleurd met distress stains. De swirl en blad zijn gemaakt met lichtblauw papier uit Tim Holtzmallen. Ik heb beide nog bewerkt met groene distress inkt. Als laatste nog een mooie parel als bloemhartje en een paar parelsprietjes ter versiering.

I have used "DAISY FAIRY" by the Stamping Boutique for my card. The DP is by Bo Bunny. The flower is made out of coffee filters with a sizzix die. The petals are coloured with distress stains. The swirl and leaf (both Tim Holtz dies) are made out of light blue paper which I distressed and stamped as well. For the finishing touch I added a pearl to the flower and some pearly stems.

Ik heb deze week een tag gemaakt. De afbeelding van Shelley is een kolibrie met een mooie bloem. Ik heb de tag bekleed met ongebleekt katoen. Daarop heb ik handgemaakt papier en jute geplakt. In de jute heb ik kleine sttukjes wol aangebracht. Verder nog een boel lintjes en een paar dew drops op de hoeken.

This week I made a tag. Shelly´s image I ´ve used is a hummingbird with a pretty flower. I covered the tag with unbleached cotton fabric. I also added some handmade paper and burlap. I put some pieces of wool in the burlap too. And for the final touch I added a lot of ribbons and some dew drops on the corners of my tag.

Ik heb de achtergrond gemaakt met distress inkt, een masker van the crafter's workshop en stempels van Tim Holtz (bitty grungy). De bloemen, blaadjes en swirls zijn snijmallen van Tim Holtz. De bloemen zijn gemaakt van koffiefilterzakjes en gekleurd met distress stains.

semi finalist !!!!

Vorige week heb ik gereageerd op een DT call van Heartfell Creations en deze week hoorde ik dat ik door ben naar de semi finale..........WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Is dat niet super gaaf!

Deze week krijg ik producten thuisgestuurd, waarmee ik 2 creaties moet maken voor de eindstrijd.

Last week I entered Heartfelt Creations DT Call and this week I received an email that I made it to the semi finale............WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!! That's totally cool isn;t it!

Om mee te doen aan de DT call heb ik 3 verschillende al eerder geplaatste creaties ingezonden, nl:

To enter the call I entered the following 3 already published creations:

1. Altered Item

Het glas heb ik gekleurd met alcohol inkt. De afbeelding is van Stampotique en ingekleurd met aquamarkers en kleurpotlood. Het lint, veertje en bloemen komen uit mijn lokale hobbywinkeltje.

I coloured this glass jar with alcohol inks. The image is by Stampotique and coloured with aquamarkers and coloured pencils. The ribbon, feather and flowers are from my local hobby /craftshop.

2. Art Journalpage

Ik heb het papier bewerkt met gesso om te voorkomen dat de inkt aan de andere kant door het papier heen komt. De kleuren zijn aangebracht met neocolor crayons. Om texture te krijgen heb ik stempels gebruikt van Unity (bloem en tekst) en Tim Holtz (bitty grungy). De grote letters zijn gemaakt met een ABC set van making memories, de kleine letters zijn van Kars. De grote worden zijn op stukje papier uit een boek gestempeld. De randjes heb ik bewerkt met distress inkt (spun sugar). De afbeelding is van Tiddly Inks en ingekleurd neocolor crayons en kleurpotloden.

I prepared the pages with gesso to protect the ink from bleeding through the pages. The colours in the background are made with neocolor crayons. To get some texture I used stamps by Unity (flowers and sentiment) and Tim Holtz (bitty grungy). The large words are stamps with an ABC stampset by Making Memories, the small words are made with an ABC stampset by Kars (Dutch brand). I have stamped the large words on some pieces of paper torn out of an old book. The edges are distressed with ink (spun sugar by Ranger).

The image is by Tiddly Inks and coloured with neocolor crayons and colour pencils.

3. Card

De achtergrond van deze kaart is gemaakt met alcohol inkt op sheet. Het stukje sheet heb ik op wit papier geplakt zodat de kleuren beter uitkomen. Ik heb spellbinder snijmallen gebruikt om de tandwielen te maken. Om een roesteffect te krijgen heb ik de tandwielen bewerkt met gesso en distress inkt. De bloemen zijn ook gemaakt met de tandwielenmal en EK succes ponsen. De afbeeldingen zijn van Tiddly Inks (zeemeermin) en Make it Crafty (bloemen). De afbeeldingen zijn ingekleurd met kleurpotlood.

The background of this card is made with alcohol ink on acetate sheet. I glued the sheet on white cardstock so the colours come out more clearly and bright. I have used the Spellbinders Sprockles dies on mirror cardstock. To get a rusty look and sponged some gesso and distress ink on the sprockles. The flowers are made with the sprockles dies by Spellbinders and EK succes punches. The images are by Tiddly Inks (mermaid) and Make it Crafty (steampuk flowers). I coloured the images with colour pencils.
