Rick heeft een paar supergave geisha's getekend en het was fantastisch om ze te kleuren.

Rick drew a few fabulous geishas and I really enjoyed colouring them.

Deze GEISHA heb ik in mijn art journal gemaakt. Lekker aan de slag met acrylverf, stempels en veel tekenwerk met sharpies en molotows.

I have used the GEISHA in my art journal. Played with my acrylic paints, some stamps and doodled a lot wtih sharpies and molotows.

En dit is een tag met MYATAKI. De achtergrond is gemaakt met distress inkt en stempels. De libelle en tak zijn gemaakt met verschillende snijmallen.

MYATAKI is hier verkrijgbaar in Rick's Etsy Shop.

And this is a tag with MYATAKI. The background is made with distress ink and stamps. The dragonfly and leaves are made with die cutting stencils.

vandaag een hoop FASHION... ik heb nl een paar pagina's in mijn journal om met jullie te delen

today a lot of FASHION ...got a few journalspreads to share

Dit is een restjes inkt pagina, toch altijd handig om restjes inkt op je templates op een pagina af te drukken, dan krijg je de mooiste achtergronden.

Deze is gemaakt met COLOR SHINE van Heidi Swapp, supergave inkt met heel veel glim en meer kleur dan de glimmermistjes. De template en stempel zijn uit de couture lijn van Dylusions. 

This a leftover page, I always blot off leftover inks on my template in my journal and this way you can create the most beautiful pages. 

Made this one with COLOR SHINE by Heidi Swapp, amazingly pretty ink with a lot of shine and more colour than glimmermist. Both the template and stamp are by Dylusions. 

Nog een restjes pagina. Ook hier heb ik restjes inkt op mijn templates afgedrukt in mijn journal. Gaaf effect en zo verzin je het niet van te voren. Ook hier zijn de template en stempels van Dylusions.

Another leftoverpage. Again I blotted off my inky templates on a page. Really love the effect and it would turn out this way if I thought it over in advance.

 "yet another nap"

Ik heb een art journalpagina gemaakt met acrylverf, modelingpaste, interference verf en goud.

De afbeelding is  "yet another nap", is die niet geweldig leuk? Ik vind het helemaal super, speciaal door Rick voor mij getekend, omdat ik zo graag een draakje met een schedel wilde. Je kunt dit draakje hier in de webwinkel vinden.

I have made an art journalpage with acrylics, modeling paste, interference paint and gold. The image is called    "yet another nap" and isn't this dragon totally cute? i really really love it. Rick drew it especially for me, because I really wanted a cute dragon with a skull.

claws and tooth, SNS throwdown May

Voor vandaan hen ik een vampier voor jullie....gemaakt op een canvas. Samen met Helen en Monique doen we namens Rick St Dennis Elite Design Team mee aan de SNS DT throwdown challenge en het theme is deze maand claws and tooth, wel tanden heeft deze dame wel.....

I have a vampire for you today...made on canvas .  Together with my teamies Monique and Helen we are entering the SNS DT throwdown  challenge as Rick St Dennis'Elite Design Team. The theme this month is claws and tooth, well this lady has tooth for sure....

De achtergrond is gemaakt met acrylverf en modeling paste. Dat ik later weer goud heb gekleurd. Vanaf de bovenkant donkerrood bloed, eh  ik bedoel verf laten lopen. De bloemen zijn gemaakt van een oude lekke binnenband van mijn fiets, ook bewerkt met goud en bloedspetters. De vleermuisjes zijn van lakleer. De afbeelding heet THRISTY en ze is verkrijgbaar in Rick's etsy shop. 

The background is made with acrylic paints and modeling paste which I made golden. From the top I let some blood...oops I mean paint run down the canvas. The flowers are made of an old inner tyre of my bicyle, added some gold and bloodspatter too. The bats are made of painted leather.

Star Fairy

Deze keer had ik zin in groen en geel, nu eens geen paars of blauw of roze, nee gewoon eens groen en geeltinten. Oke oke  met een ietsie pietsie blauw ;-)

This week I was in the mood for green and yellow, no purples or blues or pinks this week, no , just green and yellow....all right all right and a tiny small bit of blue ;-)

De achtergrond is gemaakt met fresco paints van Paperartsy en verschillende TCW templates. Op een apart stukje een kleinere tag gemaakt en deze in stukken op de grotere tag verwerkt.

De bloem is gemaakt met een Crealies snijmal. Het blaadje is kant en klaar  gekocht in een hobbywinkel. 

De STARFAIRY is ingekleurd met kleurpotlood. 

The background is made with fresco paints by Paperartsy and a few different TCW templates. Made a 2nd  tag on a little piece of paper and torn it into 2 pieces. The flower is made with a Crealies cutting stencil. The leaf is prefab and bought in the hobby and craftshop. 

I coloured the STARFAIRY with colouring pencils.

HAPPINESS

Een paar weken geleden gezellig een avondje samen met Jolande zitten werken in onze art journals. Het is altijd zo leuk om samen met vriendinnen creatief bezig te zijn en  elkaar te inspireren. 

De achtergrond is gemaakt met fresco paintsvan Paper Artsy en wat andere merken acrylverf. Extra glans toegeoegd met behulp van iridescent violet verf van Golden, echt supergave verf.  De vlinders zijn gemaakt met een TCW template met modeling paste. De dikkere stukken bewerkt met inca gold. De poppystempel is van Unity. De quote heb ik ooit eens gevonden op het internet....en soms heb ik het idee dat mensen dit wel eens een beetje vergeten.

A few weeks ago I spend a wonderful evening painting with my friend Jolande. We worked in our journals and it;s always so good to craft with friends and inspire each other. 

The background is made with fresco paints by Paper Artsy and some other brands too. Gave it some extra lustre with iridescent violet paint by Golden which is truly fabulous. The butterflies are made with a TCW template and some modeling paste. Used inca gold on the butterflies too. The poppystamp is by Unity. 

I found the qoute on the internet some time ago ...and I think that people tend to forget this occasionally don't you think so too?
